Accessory trends that are having a bit of a moment

Following on from last week’s spring trends post, I thought I’d take a look at what’s trending in terms of accessories this spring. There were a few things that caught my eye as it goes. Let’s get on with it.

Baseball Caps

A cap is something I would normally reserve for holidays or a run. But they’ve had an upgrade and I’m getting on board. The key to this trend is to style it with something smart.

Manifest The Washed Cap £25

What I love about this one is that it’s a lovely shape (not square at the front) and it’s washed out. Plus, if you’re a fan of Roxi Nafousi and love a bit of manifesting, this is the cap for you.

Ma-hus-sive Bags

Next up, super-sized bags. I heart a tote. So I’m loving this trend. Beware over-filling it though, otherwise, you’ll knacker your shoulder.

Zara Cutwork Tote Bag £79.99

This also comes in tan.

Corsages

Corsages. My initial thought was that they were too fussy. But actually, they’re growing on me.

Mango Double Twisted Flower Necklace £22.99

Dead Dangly Earrings

This is another trend that comes with a health warning. Getting slapped in the face by your earrings is surprisingly painful. But it’s a risk I’m willing to take. Love these.

Zara Swallow Earrings £19.99

Ballet/Barre Flats

Ballet flat or barre shoes. Historically, my issue with these, is that they’re hard to style. Can make your outfit look a bit twee if you get it wrong. But this picture changed my mind. Plus you can walk in them.

Mango Metallic Leather Ballerina £59.99

These ones actually tick the metallic trend too. Bonus.

Scarves

Scarves. In my mind a bit air hostess. But again I’m warming to them. I do like this look. Plus you can wear them as a headscarf, a belt, and the list goes on…

& Other Stories Graphic Print Square Scarf £45

Next post is all about packing for holiday. I’m off on a city break in May, so I’m gonna share my packing tips.

Have a good week. xx
