The wait is over. I don’t have to go on holiday to go to a Sephora. With my kids/husband constantly moaning while I shop. I remember that the one in Barcelona had a slide as an entrance, which kept them quiet for all of 2 minutes and then they came looking for me again.
For those who have never heard of Sephora (erm how is that possible?) it has a similar style to Space NK – lots of cutting-edge skincare and make-up brands as well as their own collection. And it’s the Sephora Collection I want to talk about today. The range includes makeup, skincare and haircare. I’ve yet to try the haircare, but here are my favourite picks of skincare and make-up…
Sephora Eye Mask Caffeine £3.99
Actually makes me look like I’m awake

Sephora Watermelon Face Mask £3.99
This is for rehydrating and plumping and also smells lovely and fresh too.

Sephora Coconut Foot Socks £4.99
These are epic. Put them on for half an hour and your heels and hard skin softens up. Leave them on overnight to sort totally knackered feet. Beware – it’s hard to resist sliding around on the floor.

Sephora Mango Saturated Gloves £4.99
See above, but for hands. You need to leave them on for a good half hour, which means doing anything else is impossible. Apart from watching telly. Which is a win-win as far as I’m concerned.

Sephora Set of Eight Face & Body Masks £29.99
I’ve just spotted that they do this as a gift set now. Which contains 8 essential masks. I’ve also tried these charcoal nose strips – which also do a job if you have clogged pores.

Sephora Lip Liner to Go £4.99
I used to think lip pencils were unnecessary. But I can see the point now. This one comes in 10 different colours and is soft enough not to drag, but fine enough to leave a precise outline.

Sephora Microblading Brow Pen £12.99
I’ve only discovered microblading pens in the last year. What’s brilliant about them, is that they draw individual lines, giving a natural look, rather than ‘colouring in’ your brows for that terrifying cartoon version.

Sephora Retractable Brow Pencil £10.99
If you’re still unsure about microblading pens, this pencil has a fine point so does something very similar, just takes a bit longer.

Sephora Rouge Lacquer £12.99
I’ve got one of these that I bought last time I was in a store and I loved it. I have no idea what colour it is though, so I’ll have to wait to get back into a physical store so I can match it up. What you need to know is that it has a pleasing sheen finish (not too glossy) the colour lasts and it doesn’t dry out your lips. Oh, and it costs £12.99. What’s not to love about that?

The whole collection is worth a look – Sephora know what they’re doing and it’s at a very reasonable price point.
No news on when an actual store is coming to England. But if anybody has any info, do let me know, because I need to find that lippy.
