I don’t really do denim. Apart from a denim jacket. I don’t really even wear jeans. I’ve never been that big a fan. Then this picture appeared in my Instagram feed.

And I suddenly realised I needed a denim shirt. I don’t have skirts exactly like this, but I do have a lot of slip skirts and a lovely silver pleated skirt from Reiss that would do the trick. It wasn’t hard to find exactly what I was looking for.

Then I fell in love with the Anyday denim boiler suit. It was as if I’d opened some fabric flood gates and all the denim wanted in. Anyday is a John Lewis own brand that is their more competively priced range. Originally geared up for homeware, it now offers womenswear too. Kinda like the Tesco Value range. Only, like, really good.

It’s currently sold out in all sizes, but I’m on a waiting list. I’m clearly not the only person in love with it.

Then I spotted these. I heart me a bit of winter white.

Next, the Sosander catologue arrived and several denim dresses turned my head. Couple of things here. 1) I’m not sure whether Sosander are a “cool” brand. Not that it matters I suppose. 2) I’m new at this denim malarky and I’m not sure if these dresses are nice or naff.

With the right styling one of these could work? Or am I losing it? I honestly don’t know if they are nice or nasty. Help me.

This last thing has nothing to do with denim, but I keep forgetting to mention it and you really need to hear about it. The Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector. This stuff is the absolute bollocks. You pat this on to your under eye area/inner corner of your eyes and it basically gets rid of the darkness. You may want to put concealer on too, but you probably won’t need it. It’s as good as having under eye filler good. Actually, I’ve never had under eye filler, but it defo brightens up under your eyes. It was rumoured to be being discontinued, but they still sell it at Space NK. Buy it before it’s too late.

Oh, and you should read this…. this has given me some useful insights. Told me some stuff I didn’t know and there is an app that is also really handy to help track your mood, periods etc. It’s useful. Have a look.
