It’s time. We can officially go out. I’ve got actual dates in my diary. That involve going up to London and everything. But what to wear? Think I’ve forgotten how to get dressed up, so I’ve been scanning the virtual shopping rails. Here are my picks of the dresses to wear this spring/summer. Saying that, as I type, it’s raining, leaves are swirling past my window and I’ve got the lights on at 3:30pm. What’s all that about? On the upside, here are some pretty dresses, to take your mind off the crap weather.

It also comes in black, but I’ve obviously got a bit of a thing for this colour at the mo.

Backless is featuring quite a lot this season, so if you’re lucky enough not to need a bra, then this is for you. Not me though. I need a bra, don’t want to be too descriptive, but it’s just too sad a look otherwise.

I hate seersucker. But I love the style and colour of this. Although, I’ve yet to see it in the flesh.

Nanushka Seersucker Shirt Dress £365

Crochet dresses also seem to be everywhere are the moment. I’ve worn them before, they drop. By the end of the night, you’re tripping over the thing. This is a nod in the general direction of crochet (albeit a very expensive nod).

La DoubleJ Printed Sild Maxi Dress £550

Finally, this beauty. It comes in white too, but this daffodil colour had me at hello. I would want to twirl a lot if I bought this dress, which is probably just as well, because at that price, I couldn’t afford to do much else. Love it though.
