I was going to talk about spring trends in this post, but I’m scared that if I talk about them before lockdown lifts, I’ll jinx it in some way, and we’ll all end up back in our trackies until summer. Bizarrely, now that the end is in sight, I’m struggling with lockdown more than ever before and everything is getting on my nerves. So this week’s post is about the things that are keeping me sane until we’re finally allowed back in to the world.
First up, a hair wrap from Dock & Bay. I love this. It makes your hair dry quicker, it’s made from 100% recycled material, but most of all, it makes me feel like a movie star. Don’t know why, but it does. They come in loads of colours, but not white for some reason. I need a white one.

Victoria Beckham said that the airport was her runway, which makes my runway the aisles of Morrisons. That sentence makes me want to weep. I don’t know how my obsession with these started, but start it did. It hasn’t come yet, but I will be practising my runway walk in Morrisons when it does.

Next up, Trinny’s miracle blur. This basically claims to blur fine lines round the mouth and on forehead. It does. See below pic of my forehead. It didn’t take care of ALL the lines around my mouth though, just the little ones. There are two big lines that withstood any amount of miracle blur I tried to trowel in there. But by and large it does a job.
Trinny London Miracle Blur £26.

I don’t know if you can see that (I took 40,00 pics) one side is lined the other, not so much. Eyebrows look a bit Denis Healey-esque too.
The knitted dresses I ordered in the last post, all went back. The ASOS one made me look like a sack of potatoes, but the Arket one was lovely. Until I decided that it was just a slightly longer jumper and I didn’t need it.
However the main thing that is getting me through this bit of lockdown is gin. Thank god for juniper berries.
Have a good weekend.
